Sorry it's been awhile since we talked.  I wanted to write & tell you about the 2 dogs I got from you over the last 10 years.
I  purchased my last German Shepherd Santa von Fenwald from you about 2 years ago.   The reason I did is because I know the quality of your litters and your dogs.  I have 10 year old Erich von Fenwald which I purchased from you way back in December 1997.   This dog is nearly 10 years old and is as healthy today as he was 10 years ago.   He is the most wonderful intelligent dog anyone has ever seen. 

                              He has Saved Our Lives & kept Our Family Safe Over and Over Again!  
Please let me tell you how....
I have a two story home and when my son Michael was 3 1/2 years old he started falling down the stairs Erich heard the thumping and ran and blocked the child from falling the rest of the way down . HE SAVED HIM!   Erich was about 2 yrs old then. 

Another time....My deck started on fire and  the smoke was coming through the dining room window.  Erich woke us up barking,  pulling my nightie to go downstairs!  He wouldn't let up.  Erich alerted me to the fire way before the smoke alarm went off.  He Saved us again! 

Yet another time...One night Erich woke me up quietly.   I realized something was wrong so I looked outside and saw about 10 squad cars and lots of police officers outside quietly searching the woods.   I realized they were looking for a criminal so I let Erich outside so whomever it was could not hide in my yard.   Erich dashed out the door,  never barked a sound at the police and patrolled the yard quietly until he saw the suspect. ... then he barked and the police found the guy because Erich seen him hiding next to our fence.  He actually assisted the police, he knew not to bark until the time was right, and helped them find this guy!  The police were very thankful to us and Erich. 

And Yet another night .... Erich was barking to go out at 3:30 am..  This was very unusual for Erich  so I knew something was up.   Someone had tried to rob the camera shop that is along side my property past the woods.  He heard them.  Next thing I know Police were at my door asking if we heard anything I told them at 3:30am dog was barking wanting to go out. The policemen of our area  know of our Erich and the one cop said to the other call the time of robbery 3:30am.   This is the most  intelligent dog, not to mention how gorgeous he is.

He's so smart sometimes I wonder,  it seems like he knows what were talking about.  Sometimes my husband and I laugh because we have to spell things so Erich doesn't know what were talking about.  For nearly 2 years we  also have Santa von Fenwald purchased in 2005.  People cannot believe I also got another Wonderful Dog .  She is also very intelligent.
I fell during the summer in the yard and I so badly sprained my ankle that I couldn't walk!  Can you believe this puppy went and got my husband.  At 16 months old people are amazed I have yet another Genius dog.   She also alerts me to people lurking in the woods.  I will never be without a Von Fenwald Shepherd!!   It's like having a Loving Caring Loyal Bodyguard at your side!  The dogs were only trained by me, nothing formal, no schooling.  They both do commands in English and German.   They are very obedient, highly intelligent, and gorgeous too.   Please keep up the good work!   You are a wonderful Breeder who truly Cares about the Dogs,  the Breed, and the People who own them!

Hi Cindy,

            just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how Paco is doing....Well.....Cindy.... You've done it again....This dog is also exceptionally wonderful!!! He is doing things that Cody NEVER did at this age...(4 1/2) Months old...he is VERY well behaved!! He Sitz on command...He Plotzes on command....he is half pottie trained.....still working on that...He is VERY, VERY good with the kids and Cody and us...unlike that other vicious animal we had from another breeder...He is BEAUTIFUL!! he really looks a lot like Cody if you put them side by side....he has awesome red color and stands so beautifully...what a dog!! Can you tell if we are happy yet?  Oh...he also fetches a ball if you throw it to him and brings it back...something Cody NEVER did / was interested in at this age...he really is a ham too...loves to sit in your lap...he is going to be another 90 pound lap dog!!! He walks very well on a leash and does his business on a leash too....which is a great accomplishment...Cody didn't do anything on a leash for at least 6 months. Cindy...hands down...you have the BEST German Shepherds around....and we can prove it twice...your dogs really put other breeders to shame...we get so many compliments on your dogs....it is unbelievable, they are like walking billboards!!  LOL!! Oh another thing I forgot to mention....Paco has not destroyed anything in the house at all!!! that last dog from that other breeder....destroyed a hose reel , a hose, a central air conditioning fuse box...ripped that right off of the wall , a dryer vent...ripped that off of the wall too, our yard, our dog...bit him , knobs on our entertainment unit. What a nightmare that was...still have not heard from her about a replacement dog...I think we should just taker her to small claims court?? Anyway Cindy...Thank You for another great dog and just wanted to let you know how Paco is doing...he is about 44 pounds now and is just really a great dog...very smart and very loveable!!
