Our Problem with Plagiarism

With the development of computers and the world
wide web, we are able to reach German Shepherd enthusiasts all around the world. 
 
 As we all know, the purpose of a website is to
show off one's accomplishments. 

For us here at Von Fenwald Kennels, It is an opportunity to Show & Tell the world how much we love our dogs, how we raise them, and what makes us different from the rest of the few top breeders, the million wanna be breeders, and the trillion backyard so called breeders of German Shepherds Throughout america.
 
Our words come from our heart! 

They are OUR words, and OUR words alone!
 
They come from a lifetime of dedication to the german shepherd, just as they have shown us a lifetime of dedication.
 

Unfortunately, the problem with the web is that
every unscrupulous, Brainless individual also has access to our heartfelt words. 

Last Year alone, we had discovered 12 individuals who have Plagiarized our words and put them on their websites calling them their own words.  Most of them were German shepherd breeders and 1 was a horse breeder on the west coast.  And as if that weren't bad enough, they have the nerve to say it is copyrighted by them, and cannot be used without their permission. 
 
Can you imagine that...A thief attempting to protect
the very words that they have stolen!! 
 
I pity these lame, incompetent individuals who
apparently don't possess enough intelligence to
compose their own text. 
 
Liars, thieves and cheaters
is what they are ... plain and simple.
 
Personally i feel that these people should be used as decoys in the training of police dogs.  Perhaps a just punishment would be That for each stolen word they receive a bite in the butt. 
Now that would take a bite out of crime!
 
To these ignorant plagiarists that i have discovered,
I would like to say... You're  busted!
Your shameful names will be  published on our website.
 
And in a further effort to keep our words sacred,
we're offering...
 a "Watchdog" reward of $100.00
to anyone who discovers our words/photos on
another website.
 
To collect a quick $100.00 simply email us the website address and we'll do the rest.  Your names will be kept strictly confidential.
 
In all fairness, once these people apologize to us and remove our text from their websites, we will Probably remove their names from the list.
After all, we must be at least half as forgiving as
the German Shepherds we breed.

Now, for those of you who don't know 
what Plagiarism is...here you go...
 The dictionary defines plagiarism as a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work. One of the other meanings about the act of plagiarizing is that taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own (Webster, 1976).

   In other words...
Plagiarism is stealing someone else's 
words, thoughts, or ideas.
It is not something that happens accidentally 
to well-meaning people who happen to say or write
something that someone else has previously
written; it is the act of copying somebody else's
work - ideas and/or words - and presenting it as
your own.

Warning! It is now easy to search for and find passages that have been copied from the Web by using any number of anti-plagiarism software. Cool Eh!!

 The World of Dog Breeding is Extremely Competitive.
Unfortunately there are many unscrupulous people out there who 
will go to great lengths to Plagiarize, Slander, Intimidate, and make outright Lies in an attempt destroy other breeders  and  promote themselves. 

It's a shame that they never learned that they'll never build their reputation by knocking someone elses.

to know everything about the breed, though your Breeder should.
I read, write and speak German fluently. 
I only breed the noblest West German bloodlines to produce outstanding 
prospects for show, Schutzhund,  & loving family companions.  
All of our dogs are Hip Certified, OFA, German A stamp or Pennhip.  
Our objective:  to exceed your highest expectations!

Now...in all fairness we had 2 College Professor's & 
1 High School Teacher compare the 2.  Unanimously all 3 stated PLAGIARISM!
Then I had my neighbors kids look at them...the kids are 10 & 12.
They both said she Copied!
So there you have it...
BUSTED!
