Breed Survey: Large (60cm), strong, very typey,
good proportions, high withers, good firm back, good rear angulations, upper arm could be
slightly longer. Well balanced chest proportions, good position and length of croup, very
strong bones, by otherwise absolute very good and correct gaiting, the front reach could
be oh so slightly freer. Confident temperament. Hardness, courage and fighting drive
pronounced. Does Release.

About Afra:
Big, Bold, Beautiful, Bad to the Bone. She is the epitome of what the German Shepherd was
meant to be. She is the "Queen" of our kennels. She Rules the property....not
with an iron fist, but with Silent Splendor! Her kennel name says it all...Stillen
Wald.....Afra from the Silent Forest! When the "Queen" leaves her throne all
eyes are on her and every female dog steps aside.
She also has the most maternal instincts I've ever seen in a dog. She cares for her pups meticulously and they're always properly arranged. You can actually hide one of her pups and she will air scent right to it.
To know her is to adore her! For some reason small children are instantly attracted to her as she is to them. She will even sit, down, heel, retrieve, and go over the wall for them. Extremely intelligent, and as gentle as a lamb...but put her on the protection field and she's a teeth-clacking wolf in sheep's clothing. She licks her lips before you give her food and has occasionally passed on this lip-licking trait to her offspring. She's crazy about balls, sticks, frisbees and swimming. Kayos is her favorite swimming partner.

winning every time, and still breeding and producing puppies. He's been referred to as
"Turbo", "The Ever-Ready Bunny", and the "Sean Connery" of
